Stuart has been guiding clients through complex issues involving damages quantum, business valuation, finance, accounting, and economics for the past decade. He has worked on over 40 international disputes, including ICSID and ICC arbitrations, as well as domestic court cases in the US and UK. He has also been retained as a strategic advisor on the acquisition and sale of assets.
Stuart has worked with a wide breadth of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small family-owned businesses, as well as sovereign nations and multilateral institutions. His experience includes engagements around the globe in a variety of industries, including oil & gas, power, manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, real estate development, agribusiness, tobacco, and mining.
Prior to joining Versant, Stuart spent nearly ten years in the international arbitration practice at a publicly-traded consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. Stuart is also a classically trained chef, having received a certificate in French cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Paris.
