Yelena provides advisory and consulting services on complex issues involving business and investment valuation, damages assessment, finance and accounting analysis, and fraud investigations. She has worked on over 35 international disputes, including in ICSID, ICC and LCIA arbitrations. Her clients have included corporations, foreign nationals, and sovereign nations.
Yelena is a native Russian speaker and has worked on numerous engagements involving businesses and investments in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. She also has worked on a broad range of projects in North America, South America, Central Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa, in a variety of industries such as real estate, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, consumer products, and financial services, among others.
Prior to joining Versant, Yelena spent nine years in the international arbitration practice at a publicly-traded consulting firm. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She also holds the internationally recognized designation of Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
